Product Description

Listen to your music in style - no wires attached! MP3 players are supposed to provide freedom, convenience and portability - so why confine yourself with wires? Logitech's Wireless MP3 Headphones allow you to listen to music wirelessly using advanced Bluetooth frequency-hopping technology. Bluetooth is the leading technology for transmitting and receiving wireless signals. When integrated into wireless headphones, the result is interference-free, crystal clear audio. Just plug the included wireless adapter into your MP3 player (or any other 3.5mm headphone jack) and you're ready to listen to music anywhere. You can even place your player in another location and move freely around the room, because the headphones have a range of up to 30 feet! And with integrated controls right on the headphones, you can adjust the volume or mute song tracks without ever touching your MP3 player. Although these headphones are designed with MP3 players in mind, you can also use them with your computer and enjoy wireless audio while playing your favorite game, watching a movie, or listening to music. Listen to audio privately from your PC or MAC even when you are away from the desk - without disturbing others around you! This set includes a dual charger for both the headphones and the Bluetooth adapter, and the integrated batteries have a charge life of up to eight hours. Be free, go wireless!

I bought a few pairs of these for a client on another website. They are a dental office with many patients, and they offer music and movies while you get your teeth worked on, using these headphones. Everybody that comes in enjoys the experience, and not one person, old or young, had complained about the headphones being too heavy or not working.

I personally installed (IE: plugged in to charge and after the charging was complete I pushed the "connect" buttons, clearly explained in the manual) and tested each pair. Not a single defective pair, no pairing (connection) problems, and very thorough instructions on how to use them. I was able to explain to technically challenged dentists how to pair them, and I posted the included LED status light table which covers every color and blink pattern for both the adapter and the headphones.

The range of these was about 15-20 feet through a few thin walls, and they worked with great quality up to Bluetooth specs in line-of-sight from the adapter. Didn't test further; the building wasn't big enough :)

These are slightly less extravagant than the FreePulse model, which costs the same here on Amazon at the moment (I found a better deal using a very popular search engine's 'frugal' shopping search). The going rate on the rest of the Internet makes these a great choice in price and functionality.

Apparently the problem was only with some of the headphones as some report no cracking problems. Ether way logitech will replace all headphones with defective bands.

DESIGN FLAW FIXED

I recently purchased the bad design flawed heaphones October 2005. I loved it except for the, you know, the heaphones breaking. But as of December 2005, this flaw has been fixed. no more cracked headphones. So the only reason why you shouldnt buy this is becuase of the price. As for the weight, its not too bad. it helps that its behind the ear. It only 3 ounces. Most behind the neck headphones weigh 2 or more ounces.
3 Months and no problems!

I have read several reviews of this product, and almost everyone says the headband breaks. I use these every day at work with my iPod, and often at night with my tv when watching dvd's or playing games so I wont disturb anyone.

Its had a lot of use and it has not broke yet! (I've had them for 3 months). The range is also excellent on this. I can be 20 feet away or more and I still get reception, even through walls.

So I dont know why they are breaking for other people. I use them everyday. I have a big head, and they havent broke yet. I also take care of all my stuff, so that helps. These are much more convienent if you have to do a lot of moving around. I used to run the wire up my shirt for the earbuds and it was annoying and the earbuds fell out a lot. Highly recommended!
Mine Broke Too =(

Reviewer: Lee Slack,
I am sad to say, i bought these about 2 weeks ago, and the headband also broke, right down the middle, as others have stated. Although i do stand by Logitech and thier products, everything from my computer keyboard, to my xbox controllers are logitech, and i love thier support. I called the 1800 number to tell them what happened, they are aware of the problem, and have stopped manufacturing and selling the product due to the design deficiency, the only place you can still get them are retailers and online stores/ebay that have old stock, and thats why they are usually listed at rock bottom prices. With no hassle at all, they gave me an RMA number, appologized for the inconvenience, and told me to send it back with my proof of purchase. Yesterday i received my replacement, expecting the same product, with maybe a reinforced band or something, i was quite surprised to get a brand new FreePulse, and i have to say, these things are awesome. Totally new design, more comfortable, and a titanium carbon steel band, thats almost unbreakable, and very flexible. I love these things, and i love logitech. When they make a crappy product, they admit it, and stand by thier name. Way to go!

Rating: I still gave it 5 stars, even though it broke, it was a great product, and Logitech is great also.
