Great for watching TV while the wife studies, lightweight enough to work out with.

I've had a good experience with this product. I generally used it to watch TV while my wife studied, and for that, it worked great. I didn't have the sound problems of the other users, and was even able to hear decently through a cinderblock wall into my bedroom. That said, I really never went too far from the broadcasting unit, a max of maybe 15 feet, so I don't know how it performs in a larger room.
The main reason I picked this unit is that I like to work out while watching, so I picked a lightweight set to replace my previous poor arrangement of a walkman tuned to an FM converter. That didn't work well, as the FM in our area was in constant flux. As to working out, I've been happy with how this unit stays on me while I run or lift weights.
The only real cons are that it needs a computer or 2 USB ports to charge, and that I had to sync it almost every time I used it. That never took long, but it'd be nice if it remembered its last pairing. Otherwise, I'm happy and can recommend the product.
Great Headphones not so great for phone calls

Reviewer: S. Gregory,
These stereo headphones work great while listening to music with my T-mobile shadow. It is a bit tricky to set up with that phone however. When listening to music everything sounds great. I do get slight distortion if the phone gets too far away. I thought that it could be the headphones themselves until I tested them with a bluetooth usb device on my computer and determined that the issue was with my phone not the headset.

I have even used the included headphone bluetooth adapter and that works well with my psp. Decent range as well.

My only beef with this device is the microphone functionality when talking on your cellphone. It really only works in a quiet environment. Even then you have to talk very loudly.

Overall I am satisfied with my Coby headset it was exactly what I had expected for the price. I thought the wire behind the head would break but they are surprisingly durable.
SO SO cv-290

CV-290 May be fine but I bought two and one did not
work. Most Coby products work. Price is good.To bad the products do not perform.
Transmitters for bluetooth both broken. So I will take one back to try again. I used one with wife's iPhone 3g s and it is good for stereo. Mic to far away or needs an extension for calls.
Apple store had products over $100- more expensive. May consider other bluetooth stereo headset but not so expensive.$60 is good price.I also wanted to use it on an iPod (video) and it had to use the non functional transmitters so since it did not
work.... I also tried the bad headset on my cell phone - Samsung- still no pairing. I tried to see if my Mac Book Pro would see either would show,t but not even a flicker of any bluetooth from the bad headset or transmitters.
Wait to see if it is reviewed by NY Times. Might Buy a different brand.

I am disapointed in this product. I returned it because of many issues.

Pros
It is wire that wraps around the back of your head so it should not break
It is ver light
You can take onew ear out while driving. But volumn is so low that you would not be able to hear.
Cons;
Sounds like a $4.00 pair of wired headset
THe people on the other end cannot understand you.
